DJ Miller bought the bar about five years ago and is now losing $5,000 a month. He’s $180,000 in debt and only has enough money to keep the bar afloat for about six months. DJ’s goal in life is to run a successful bar so he can pass it down to his daughter Leia – who is currently only 10 years old.
DJ’s ex-wife Tammy owns half the bar, but she doesn’t come around much anymore because DJ doesn’t allow her to take ownership of anything.
The makeover happened back in late September 2019, and Jon changed the name of The Grant Bar to Leia’s Restaurant. Lounge. Nightclub.
Leia’s is currently closed due to the COVID-19 health emergency, but they’re hoping to host a virtual watch party on their Facebook page when the episode debuts Sunday night on Paramount Network.
