On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and crew are in Escondido, California to save Kalaveraz Cocina-Cantina.

According to the episode synopsis, Jon does reconnaissance at Kalaveraz Cocina-Cantina and finds an owner so in over his head that he’s resorted to not paying his staff.
The makeover happened back in late January 2020, and Jon decided to change the name of Kalaveraz Cocina-Cantina to Sierra Madre Cantina. The bar continues to operate under the new name.
Interestingly enough, Kalaveraz Cocina-Cantina celebrated its grand opening back in September 2019. Less than four months later is was being rescued by Jon Taffer and the Bar Rescue team.
