On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his team make a stop in Canyon Lake, California to rescue Pepe’s Mexican Food and Cantina.

Pepe’s is owned by Victor and Laura Demoreno, who purchased the bar, building and land for $2.5 million. The bar is reportedly losing $6,000 a month, mainly due to the absentee owners’ refusal to engage with staff and customers.
The makeover happened back in February 2020, and Jon decided to change the name of Pepe’s to Par Bar.
The owners were hoping to host a viewing party at the bar for the episode premier on Paramount Network, but due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, that’s “not going to happen.”
