
Subway has discontinued two popular meat options as the brand quietly removed roast beef and rotisserie-style chicken from the menu in recent days.

The move comes as Subway welcomes back a twist on their popular $5 Footlong deal where you can now get two Footlongs for $5 each when you order two.
Fans have taken to social media to voice their displeasure on the removal of the two popular meats:

Please don't discontinue the rotisserie chicken an roast beef my husband loves the roast beef that's all he likes gets extra meat. Also my son loves the rotisserie chicken he can't eat anything else because he has Crohn's disease an we go when he has his infusion every 8 weeks.

Subway manager in Indianapolis told me no roast beef as the price is too high and they wont buy it. Probably wont go back dow so substituting bacon on club for the missing roast beef.
