Burger King says the brand partnered with top scientists to develop and test a new diet for cows, that “reduces up to 33% per day, on average, of cows’ daily methane emissions during the last three to four months of their lives.”

According to the company, by adding 100 grams of lemongrass leaves to the cows’ daily diet during their last four months of life, it helps reduce the amount of methane they release as they digest their food.
