Plant-based food innovator Sweet Earth Foods unveils the new Awesome Bacon Burger – the “first-ever” vegan bacon hamburger in retail and the plant-based category.

The Awesome Bacon Burger combines Sweet Earth’s vegan bacon bits with its plant-based Awesome Burger to create a savory plant-based burger experience.
Made with textured pea protein, natural hickory smoke flavor, fruit, and vegetable concentrate for color, the Awesome Bacon Burger contains 26g of protein per serving and is non-GMO.
The burger is set to hit shelves of HEB starting this week, with nationwide distribution ramping up over the coming weeks.
Additionally, two recently announced Sweet Earth sausages will now be rolling out on retailer shelves nationwide:
- Green Chile Chedd’r Sausage incorporates vegan chedd’r, habanero peppers, yellow peppers, and cilantro. Available at retailers including Whole Foods Market.
- Chik’n Apple Sausage features apples, green onion, and spices. Available at retailers including HEB.
National distribution of Sweet Earth’s new products will continue to expand over the weeks to come.
