Steak ‘n Shake gets nostalgic with the return of carhop service at select locations across the US.

In order to relive the classic carhop experience, simply stop by any participating location by pulling up to a parking spot denoted by signage evoking a 45 RPM record popularized in the fifties. Then open the the brand’s app, place your order, select “Car Hop” and enter your vehicle details. When your order is ready, a carhop will deliver the order on a tray and attach it to an open car window to enjoy in the safety of your car.
For fans that prefer to dine outside of their vehicles, socially distanced umbrella-covered outdoor picnic tables will be available.
To celebrate the return of carhop service, Steak ‘n Shake is welcoming back the fan-favorite Cajun Steakburger – available exclusively at the car hop through the month of August 2020.
The Cajun Steakburger features a pair of 100 percent beef patties, American cheese and Cajun sauce on a toasted bun topped with zesty Cajun seasoning. It comes with a side of Thin ’n Crispy Fries for a suggested price of $3.99.
Starting in September 2020, the Cajun Steakburger will be widely available for drive-thru, take-out and delivery.
