In a move to streamline its menu and make room for new innovations, Taco Bell is bidding farewell to the Mexican Pizza, Pico de Gallo and Shredded Chicken on November 5, 2020.

The loss of shredded chicken as a protein option means Taco Bell will be saying goodbye to the Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito, and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt on November 5. Fans looking for similar options are being encouraged to try out the brand’s classic Chicken Quesadilla or the new Chicken Chipotle Melt, which will be available starting November 5 (see below).

As part of the menu revamp, Taco Bell will be welcoming new additions, including the following:

Chicken Chipotle Melt – Available Nationwide Starting November 5: A new permanent fixture on the Cravings Value Menu, featuring marinated all-white meat grilled chicken, creamy chipotle sauce, and cheddar cheese rolled and melted together. The Chicken Chipotle Melt will carry a suggested price of $1.

Dragonfruit Freeze – Available Nationwide Starting Seotember 24: : Taco Bell’s new Dragonfruit Freeze is a tropical frozen beverage swirled with a burst of dragonfruit flavor.

Green Sauce – Available in select markets nationwide starting November 5: A new and improved recipe, now including flavors of fire roasted green chilies, pureed jalapeño and hatch green chiles to ensure it has an extra kick that pairs well with any menu item.

Quesalupa – Testing in Knoxville, TN starting on September 24: The fan-favorite Quesalupa begins its journey back to menus nationwide next year, kicking off on September 24 with a test in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Quesalupa features classic chalupa shell stuffed with a cheese blend of real pepper jack and mozzarella cheeses.

With the latest menu changes, Taco Bell wants to reassure fans that this is the final phase of the brand’s 2020 menu revamp.
