For one day only on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, McDonald’s is offering “Spicesurance,” where anyone can order six Spicy Chicken McNuggets through the app, and add Spicesurance for six additional McNuggets – spicy or classic – free of charge.

To take advantage of the one-day-only offer, simply download the McDonald’s App (if you haven’t already done so) and select either of the below Spicesurance coverage plans with your six-piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets order:
- Six additional Spicy Chicken McNuggets: Get six more Spicy Chicken McNuggets on the house.
- Six additional classic Chicken McNuggets: Get six original McNuggets for free.
New Spicy Chicken McNuggets feature 100 percent white meat chicken breaded with a tempura coating made with cayenne and chili peppers for a spicy kick. Add an extra kick with Mighty Hot Sauce, which is made with a blend of crushed red peppers, spicy chilis and garlic. The sauce is the brand’s first new sauce since 2017 and the hottest one available at McDonald’s.
McDonald’s is providing the six additional Chicken McNuggets as insurance in the event the extra kick of flavor in Spicy Chicken McNuggets proves too little, or too much for your personal taste.
Additionally, from September 22 through September 28, McDonald’s is offering fans a free 10 piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets with a $20 minimum order via McDelivery on Uber Eats.
