Arby’s Owner In Talks To Buy Dunkin’ And Baskin-Robbins

Arby’s parent company Inspire Brands is in talks to buy Dunkin’ and Baskin Robbins, according to reports.

The New York Times reported Sunday that the deal with Dunkin’ Brands is valued at $8.8 billion, and could be announced as soon as today – Monday, October 26, 2020.

Based in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Inspire Brands has a brand portfolio that includes Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic and Jimmy John’s.

“Dunkin’ Brands confirms that it has held preliminary discussions to be acquired by Inspire Brands,” the New York Times reported Dunkin’ spokeswoman Karen Raskopf saying in a prepared statement.

“There is no certainty that any agreement will be reached. Neither group will comment further unless and until a transaction is agreed.”
