New Doggie Desserts are specifically formulated for dogs with a sunflower butter base and debut in two flavors: “Pontch’s Mix” and “Rosie’s Batch.”
- Pontch’s Mix features a frozen sunflower butter base with peanut butter and pretzel swirls.
- Rosie’s Batch starts with a frozen sunflower butter base blended with pumpkin and mini cookies.
Both “Pontch’s Mix” and “Rosie’s Batch” were named after two real dogs in the Ben & Jerry’s office – a Frenchie and a rescue mutt of mixed heritage.
Doggie Desserts can be found at supermarkets, mass retailers, and select pet stores nationwide in 4-oz mini cups or in 4-count multipacks, for a suggested price of $2.99 and $4.99 each, respectively.
Additionally, Ben & Jerry’s has also partnered with suppliers for a line of pet accessories like a 6′ custom tie dye leash made from recycled water bottles and a plush cone toy stuffed with recycled fill, which are available in limited quantities at www.store.benjerry.com.
