McDonald’s revealed today that the brand’s iconic Shamrock Shake and fan-favorite Oreo Shamrock McFlurry will return to participating locations across the US starting February 15, 2021.

The Shamrock Shake features vanilla soft serve blended with Shamrock Shake flavor and finished with a whipped topping.
Meanwhile, the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry – which made its US debut last year – is also back by popular fan-demand. The seasonal McFlurry combines creamy, vanilla soft serve with Shamrock Shake flavor and Oreo cookie pieces blended throughout.
Connecticut McDonald’s owner-operator Hal Rosen created the Shamrock Shake in 1967 in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It later debuted in select locations across the US in 1970 and was an instant success. Today, the minty treat is the brand’s most anticipated dessert to reappear on the menu each year.
