New in name only, Hardee’s launches the “Really” Big Hardee at participating locations.

Hardee’s first introduced The Big Hardee back in 1995 as a Big Mac and Whopper competitor. At the time, the limited-time Big Hardee featured two very large square beef patties with 66% more beef than the Big Mac, and 33% more beef than the Whopper.
When The Big Hardee returned to menus later in 2009, 2011 and 2013, the burger featured three standard beef patties – but since then, The Big Hardee has been downsized to just two beef patties.
Flash-forward to 2021 and Hardee’s introduces what they’re calling The Really Big Hardee:
The Really Big Hardee features three charbroiled all-beef patties, American cheese, lettuce and Classic Sauce on a toasted seeded bun.
It’s basically the 2009 Big Hardee reborn as the Really Big Hardee.
It’s also worth noting that sister brand Carl’s Jr. is also welcoming back The Really Big Carl and The Big Carl.
