Starting Thursday, March 11, fans will be able to enjoy potato bites in the $1 Spicy Potato Soft Taco, and Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, which carry a suggested price of $1.49. Moreover, fans will also have the option to substitute potato bites for any protein on Taco Bell’s menu.

Additionally, later in March, the $5 Build Your Own Cravings Box will include more signature vegetarian items, like the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito.

The new menu updates are just the latest in a “series of exciting vegetarian offerings that Taco Bell is planning for 2021.” The brand plans to share more details in the coming months.

Taco Bell discontinued potatoes back in August 2020 as part of a larger 12 item menu cull that also included the brand’s popular 7-Layer Burrito.

As was the case previously, Taco Bell’s potatoes are American Vegetarian Association-certified vegan.
