California Pizza Kitchen is celebrating the team at Jet Propulsion Laboratories in California for their triumph of landing NASA’s Perseverance Rover on Mars with the debut of the new Mars-inspired “Red Planet” pizza on March 8 and March 10 outside its Pasadena* location in Southern California.

The “Red Planet” pizza comes on a 7-inch pie topped with spicy marinara sauce, goat cheese, pepperoni and Fresno chilis.
The limited-edition pizza serves as a tribute to the hardworking team at Jet Propulsion Laboratories for their triumphant landing of NASA’s Perseverance Rover on the Red Planet – a groundbreaking scientific advancement by California’s best and brightest, worthy of a namesake dish.
*You can find the new Red Planet Pizza exclusively at the brand’s Mobile Kitchen food truck, which will be parked outside its Pasadena location on March 8 and March 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. only. The limited-edition pizza is priced at $5.
