Wendy’s is introducing an all-new plant-based protein offering with the debut of the new Spicy Black Bean Burger in select markets beginning June 28, 2021.

The Spicy Black Bean Burger features a signature black bean patty crafted with a blend of spices like paprika and chipotle pepper, crunchy chipotle jalapenos, creamy, melted pepper jack cheese, fresh tomatoes, sweet onion slices, crisp romaine and a smoky chipotle sauce, all sandwiched between a warm, premium toasted bun.

The new sandwich will be available in three test markets – Columbus, Jacksonville and Pittsburgh – for a suggested price of $5.79 via Wendy’s drive-thru, contactless pickup via Wendy’s app with mobile order, or through delivery with DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats.

Additionally, when you order via the Wendy’s app, you can pair your Spicy Black Bean burger with a free order of medium fries and get free in-app delivery through July 1, 2021.

Wendy’s new plant-based Spicy Black Bean Burger will be available for a limited time only starting June 28 at select test locations in Columbus, Jacksonville and Pittsburgh.
