On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his crew are in Pahrump, Nevada to save VFW Post 10054 (Veterans of Foreign Wars).

According to the episode synopsis, Jon Taffer heads to Pahrump, Nevada to save a VFW hall from closing its doors and help its commanding officer step away to take care of his ailing wife.
Post Commander Marty Aguiar, who has been in charge of VFW Clyde Newman Post 10054 for the past few years is a 30-year US Navy veteran and considered the “heart and soul” of the Post. Marty’s wife Sue, who also volunteers at the VFW was recently diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, forcing Marty to eventually step back from his duties to support his wife. Marty has pegged his second in command Steve Kennard to be his successor.
The rescue happened back in April 2021.
