On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his crew are in Tucson, Arizona to rescue The County Line Lounge & Grille.

In 2018, Denise Marley and her fiancé Billy decided to pursue Billy’s lifelong dream of owning a bar. They were able to convince Billy’s best friend Paul St. Jean to buy The County Line Lounge in exchange for 49 percent of the business. Tragically, only three months after purchasing the bar Billy died unexpectedly. When COVID-19 hit in March 2020, Denise – still dealing with the loss of Billy – turned to the bottle to handle the pressure. With Denise more focused on drinking than managing the bar, standards slipped, and the bar has already racked up more than $48,000 in losses for the current year.

As part of the makeover, Jon decided to change the name of The County Line Lounge & Grille to The Billy Bar, in honor of Billy.

The makeover happened in June 2021.
