
On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his team are in Maricopa, Arizona to rescue the True Grit Tavern.

According to the episode synopsis, Jon attempts to rescue a bar in Maricopa, Arizona whose owner Ralph has squandered a half a million dollar investment from his parents.
The True Grit Tavern is owned and operated by Ralph Skrzypcak. Ralph opened the True Grit Tavern back in 2015 with the help of a $150,000 interest-free loan from his father. The bar did well for the first couple of years, pulling in $100,000 to $120,000 a month, but is now in debt to the tune of $500,000 and at risk of closing down.
The rescue happened back in June 2021. During the makeover, Jon changed the name of the True Grit Tavern to The Roost.
