To make it happen, Lay’s pulled some soil directly from NFL stadiums and fields across the country and mixed the soil into separate parts of Lay’s potato fields to make chips infused with the grounds and the glory of America’s favorite NFL teams.

Lay’s Golden Grounds chips are the same classic Lay’s taste that fans know and expect, but this time made with a special salute to their favorite teams. The limited-edition bags feature keepsake packaging decked out with NFL team colors and logos.

Lay’s also enlisted the help of NFL legend Jerry Rice to bring fans this one-of-a-kind NFL experience. You can watch a launch video starring Jerry below:

Between January 11 and January 25, 2022, fans will have the chance to win a bag of these limited-edition chips for themselves.

For your chance to score a bag, simply follow Lay’s Twitter (@LAYS) and look out for special Golden Grounds sweepstakes tweets. From there, respond to the tweet showing love for your favorite NFL team (pictures encouraged) and be sure to use #LaysGoldenGrounds, #Sweepstakes and official NFL hashtag of your favorite team.

Additionally, for the first time in 17 years, the iconic tailgate snack is officially announcing its return to the Super Bowl with a new TV commercial. Details are under wraps for now, but more information will be available in the coming weeks.
