In 2012, real estate executive Carlene Winter decided to buy her local bar The Brick Tavern as an investment for her retirement. Charlene initially enjoyed moderate success due to the establishment’s loyal customer base. However, due to Charlene’s lack management skills and unwillingness to trust her employees, The Brick Tavern has fallen into complete disarray, driving her once loyal customers away from the bar.
As a result, Charlene’s reportedly $530,000 in debt and has depleted all the money in her retirement account.
The rescue happened in November 2021 and Jon changed the name of The Brick Tavern to Char Bar & BBQ as part of the makeover.
