Shake Shack and plant-based, dairy alternative brand NotCo have teamed up to test new Non-Dairy Chocolate Custard and a new Non-Dairy Chocolate Shake at ten select Shake Shack locations in New York and South Florida through summer 2022.

Powered by NotCo, Non-Dairy Chocolate Frozen Custard is a proprietary formula, while the Non-Dairy Chocolate Shake features a mixture of the non-dairy custard and NotMilk.
By using a combination of technology with AI chefs and R&D teams, NotCo says it was able to replicate the same rich flavor, creaminess and functionality as the existing Shake Shack items, replacing both dairy and egg components.
You can find Non-Dairy Chocolate Custard and the Non-Dairy Chocolate Shake powered by NotCo at the following select Shake Shack test locations: Winter Park, Garden Mall, Miami Beach, The Falls Coral Gables, Astor Place, Midtown East, Harlem, Upper East Side and Battery Park City.
