For a limited time, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are both testing a new Spicy Cowboy menu at select test locations in Bakersfield, California; Terre Haute, Indiana; and Little Rock, Arkansas.

- Spicy Cowboy Breakfast Sandwich: Fluffy folded eggs, savory sausage and pepper jack cheese served on a toasted jalapeno cornmeal bun. Pricing: $3.49 at both Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.
- Spicy Cowboy Cheeseburger: A 100 percent all beef patty, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno coins, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and BBQ sauce on a toasted jalapeno cornmeal bun. Pricing: $5.79 at Carl’s Jr., $5.49 at Hardee’s.
- Double Spicy Cowboy Cheeseburger: Two 100 percent all beef patties, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno coins, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and BBQ sauce on a toasted jalapeno cornmeal bun. Pricing: $6.99 at Carl’s Jr., $6.59 at Hardee’s.
