Krispy Kreme is celebrating NASA’s upcoming Artemis I mission with the launch of the new, one-day-only Artemis Moon Doughnut on Monday, August 29, 2022.

The special-edition Artemis Moon Doughnut is a Cheesecake Kreme flavored and filled doughnut dipped in Cookies ‘n Kreme Icing with a swirl of cookie pieces.
The Artemis Moon Doughnut will be available for one day only on launch day – Monday, August 29, 2022 – at participating shops across the US.
Just take note that if NASA announces by Saturday August 27 that the launch will be delayed, the doughnut will instead be available on the new mission date NASA sets. Fans should check Krispy Kreme’s social media channels for Go/No-Go announcement updates.
NASA’s planned Monday launch of the Artemis I is an uncrewed flight test of the world’s most powerful rocket carrying a spacecraft that will fly around the moon and farther than any spacecraft built for humans has ever flown.
