The new recipe Original Orange Chicken Sandwich (version 2) is made to order with a brioche bun, sriracha aioli sauce, pickles and a crispy chicken strip glazed in the brand’s signature Orange Chicken sauce.

When Panda Express originally tested the Original Orange Chicken Sandwich this time last year, the sandwich consisted of a breaded white meat chicken breast topped with Orange Chicken sauce and a spicy aioli sauce on top of a bed of shredded cabbage and thick crinkle cut bread and butter pickles, all nestled between a soft, sweet King’s Hawaiian bun.

What’s different this time around?

The new recipe Original Orange Chicken Sandwich replaces the spicy aioli sauce with sriracha aioli sauce, glazes the entire crispy chicken strip with Orange Chicken sauce as opposed to just a dollop of the sauce, replaces the King’s Hawaiian bun with a brioche bun and totally removes the shredded cabbage.

Fellow Chewer and YouTube reviewer Peep This Out! picked up the latest iteration of the Original Orange Chicken Sandwich for $5.95 at the Panda Express Innovation Kitchen in Pasadena, California.
