With National Coffee Day just around the corner, I thought now would be a good time to put together a running list of freebies, specials and deals some national, regional and local restaurant chains will be offering in honor of the day.

Here’s a look at some of the specials offers you can expect to find at a restaurant in your area on/or leading up to National Coffee Day on September 29:
- Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii: Offering a free 16-oz of brewed 10% Kona blend, hot or iced, at participating locations on September 29. Ohana Rewards members also receive 33 bonus Lei (points) for each purchase on National Coffee Day, at participating locations. Those unable to visit a store can redeem 33% off ‘Original Coffee Club’ coffees at www.badasscoffeestore.com for one-day only on National Coffee Day.
- Bean Box: Get a free 12-oz bag of one of Bean Box’s best-selling coffees with any purchase when you use promo code “FREECOFFEE” on BeanBox.com from September 29 – October 1, 2022.
- Blue Bottle Coffee: Offering special BOGO promotion on their Whole Bean and Pour Over coffee. When a guest purchases any 8-oz bag of whole bean coffee, they may receive a blend or single origin pour over or cold brew on Blue Bottle for September 29, 2022.
- Caribou Coffee: Offering $3 medium handcrafted beverages for all perks members on September 29.
- Duck Donuts: Offering a free medium hot coffee or cold brew with the purchase of a donut on September 29. Also available online using promo code “COFFEEDAY.” Existing rewards members will receive a reward in their mobile app which they can redeem on National Coffee Day.
- Dunkin’: DD Perks members can get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase at Dunkin’ on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
- Dutch Bros: Dutch Rewards members will be entered to win free Dutch for a year when they roll through their local shop and scan their Dutch Pass on September 29.
- Kolache Factory: Free 12-oz cup of drip coffee, flavored or single source by showing the e-mail or social media posting an offer on their phones or simply mentioning it in-store.
- Krispy Kreme: Free brewed coffee for all fans on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Krispy Kreme Rewards members get an even sweeter deal – a free doughnut of choice to accompany their free coffee.
- la Madeleine: Free regular or large drip coffee to any guest who stops by the restaurant or orders online or through app on September 29.
- Panera: On National Coffee Day, new Unlimited Sip Club Subscribers will receive 2 months free. Existing Sip Club Members can receive $2 off select barista beverages and smoothies.
- Peet’s Coffee: Coffeebar guests can enjoy a complimentary small drip coffee with any purchase on Thursday, September 29. Offering 20% off sitewide at peets.com from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2. Offering $0 Delivery fee for orders placed through the Peet’s app from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2.
- Pilot Flying J: Free cup of coffee at more than 650 participating travel centers across the country. Guests can choose from any size dispensed hot, iced, cold brew, or the new frozen Pilot coffee and redeem the deal through the myRewards PlusTM app.
