With Veterans Day arriving on Friday, November 11 this year, several national, regional and local restaurant chains will honor the nation’s veterans and active-duty military with freebies, and special offers on Friday as a “thank you” for their service.

Below is a running list of Veterans Day specials that will be available on and/or leading up to Veterans Day:
- 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes: Offering a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog in honor of Veterans. Available in-store and via delivery through the 7NOW app, this deal is only redeemable on November 11, 2022.
- BJ’s: Teaming up with Dr Pepper to offer a complimentary meal from an exclusive menu and a Dr Pepper beverage to all current and former military personnel with a valid military ID for dine-in on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
- Bob Evans Restaurants: Honoring our nation’s veterans and active duty military personnel with a free meal for dine-in on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
- Bonefish Grill: Offering a free order of the restaurant’s Bang Bang Shrimp – crispy shrimp tossed in a signature creamy, spicy sauce – with a soft beverage to service members, veterans and first responders with a valid ID on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. Available all day, no purchase required.
- Buffalo’s Cafe: Offering all veterans and active-duty military a complimentary entree from the regular Core Menu. Valid in-store at participating locations only, patrons can redeem by wearing a military uniform or presenting a Veteran or Military I.D.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Offering a complimentary entree and beverage when active and retired military members dine in, and show proof of service, on Veterans Day. All Veterans who dine with CPK will also receive a buy-one-get-one free voucher, redeemable for any pizza, pasta or salad from November 12-21.
- Carrabba’s Italian Grill: All restaurants are offering a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a soft beverage for veterans and active-duty military with show of ID on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. No purchase required.
- Caribou Coffee: All veterans, active military members and their spouses can receive a free hot brewed coffee on Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
- Casey’s: Offering free coffee to service members both past and present on Veterans Day – Friday, November 11, 2022.
- Charleys Philly Steaks: Offering a free Gourmet Fries in-store with no purchase necessary to all Veterans and Active Military on November 11, 2022.
- Chicken Salad Chick: Offering a free meal to all Veterans and active-duty Military on Veterans Day, November 11, 2022. This offer is valid at all Chicken Salad Chick locations for service members in uniform or those with a valid military ID.
- Chuck E. Cheese: Offering a free personal 1-topping pizza for any active duty, national guard, retired service member or veteran with valid Military ID or proof of military service on Nov. 11, 2022. Promo code “5970.” No purchase required. Limit 1 per person. Not available for delivery.
- Cicis: Offering Free Adult Buffet for Active and Retired Military Personnel on Veterans Day. The offer is valid for dine-in only and it does not include a drink. A valid active duty or retired Military I.D. must be presented at the time of purchase.
- Coolgreens: All veterans and active-duty military are invited to order their favorite meal or try a new sandwich, wrap, salad or bowl on the house. Offer valid with military ID and meal valued up to $15 on Veterans Day only.
- Cotton Patch Cafe: Offering veterans and active military a free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken when they visit any Cotton Patch Cafe location on November 11 with a Military ID.
- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Offering veterans and active-duty military a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake, in-store and online, with any purchase using promo code “VETSDAY22” at checkout.
- Denny’s: Offering free Grand Slams for all military personnel on Veterans Day from 5 a.m. to noon with a valid military ID or DD 214.
- Dickey’s: Offering a free Pulled Pork Sandwich to military veterans in-store for carryout, in the Dickey’s app, or online at Dickeys.com using the code “VETFREE” all day on Friday, November 11, 2022.
- Doherty owned and operated Applebee’s: Pre-selling guests $4 dollar Sam Adams mugs and then on Veterans Day, those mugs will be filled with beer for veterans for free.
- Einstein Bros. Bagels: Free hot or iced coffee of any size with purchase when veterans show their ID inside each bakery location on Friday, November 11, 2022.
- Farmer Boys: Offering all veterans and active duty military a free Big Cheese on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
- Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Will honor our nation’s Veterans and current military personnel on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2022 with a free Freddy’s Original Double combo meal card. No purchase is necessary to receive this special offer.
- Hawaiian Bros: Free plate lunch from 11am – 11pm on November 11. Includes friends and family of veterans and active military too.
- Hooters: On Friday, November 11, all veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters location nationwide will receive a free entree from a special Hooters Veterans Day Menu (available for dine-in only).
- Huddle House: On Friday, November 11 active duty, retired military, and veterans may visit any participating Huddle House to enjoy their MVP Breakfast Platter meal. The restaurants just ask that all participants present a proper military I.D.
- Hurricane Grill & Wings: Hurricane Grill & Wings will offer all veterans and active-duty military a complimentary entree on 11/11 from the select menu. Valid in-store at participating locations only, patrons can redeem by wearing a military uniform or presenting a Veteran or Military I.D.
- IHOP: Offering veterans and active duty military free Red, White & Blue Pancakes from 7AM-7PM at participating locations for dine-in service only on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. Military ID or proof of service is required.
- Jet’s Pizza: Offering America’s military veterans, retirees, and active-duty personnel 50% off Detroit-Style Pizzas at menu price when they show their military ID on November 11, 2022.
- Johnny Rockets: Will be giving away free burgers to all veterans and active-duty military on 11/11. Valid in-store only, patrons can redeem by presenting a Veteran or Military I.D.
- Little Caesars: Free Lunch Combo for Veterans and Active Military between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. local time on November 11, 2022. Each Lunch Combo includes four slices of Detroit-Style Deep Dish pepperoni pizza and a 20 ounce Pepsi product.
- Logan’s Roadhouse: Honoring America’s heroes this Veteran’s Day, Friday, Nov. 11 by offering active and retired service members a free meal off its Veterans Day menu.
- Metro Diner: Offering 50% off to active and retired military with valid military ID on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
- Miller’s Ale House: Offering military members and veterans 50% off their entrée of choice with proof of service on Friday, November 11, 2022.
- Native Grill & Wings: In recognition of Veteran’s Day, NGW will offer all veterans and active-duty military a free meal from a select menu. Each meal will include a choice of a non-acholic beverage. Valid for dine-in only at participating locations, veterans and active-duty military must present a military I.D. or wear a military uniform to redeem.
- O’Charley’s: Offering a free entree from a select menu to all veterans and active duty personnel on Veterans Day. Veterans and active duty personnel are also given the option of a 14-oz Bone-in Ribeye or Louisiana Sirloin for $10.
- Perkins Restaurant & Bakery: Offering active duty, retired military, and veterans a free Magnificent Seven meal. To receive the offer, please present a valid military I.D. on Friday, November 11, 2022.
- Peter Piper Pizza: Peter Piper Pizza celebrates our veterans every day by offering a 10% discount for dine-in only.
- Pluckers: Free meal (entree, side and non-alcoholic beverage) when veterans and active military show their ID at any Pluckers location.
- Red Lobster: In honor of Veterans Day, and to thank veterans, active-duty military and reservists for their service, Red Lobster is offering guests a free Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Fries, and Coleslaw, featuring six hand-breaded, butterflied and lightly fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, as well as crispy French Fries and Coleslaw. The offer is available for dine-in and To Go orders placed in-restaurant between 11:00am and 4:00pm local time on Friday, November 11, 2022. - Schlotzsky’s: Offering free chips and a small drink with an entree purchase to veterans and active-duty service members with a valid military ID from Nov.11 through Nov. 30, 2022.
- Sheetz: Offering all veterans and active duty military personnel a free half ham and cheese or meatball sub and a regular size fountain drink at any of Sheetz’s 660+ store locations on November 11, 2022.
