Smashburger has teamed up with alternative meat brand jack & annie’s to test a new plant-based burger on the menu for a limited time: the Plant-Based Classic Smash Burger.

The Plant-Based Classic Smash Burger features a jack & annie’s jackfruit patty topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, Smash Sauce, and ketchup on a toasted bun.
Additionally, the jackfruit-based burger patty can be substituted for any traditional protein option – including chicken, beef or black bean – in all Smashburger menu items.
You can find the new Plant-Based Classic Smash Burger along with the jackfruit-based burger patty at select test locations across Colorado, New York, and New Jersey.
