On tonight’s episode of Restaurant Impossible, Robert Irvine and his team are in Greenville, South Carolina to save the Runway Cafe.

The Runway Cafe is an airport cafe located in the Greenville Downtown Airport.
According to the episode synopsis, owners Lem and Mike “believe a nearby playground is the root of their problems, with too many kids driving away their paying customers. If Robert Irvine can’t convince them their problems are fixable, this restaurant will be grounded permanently.”
The makeover happened back in late October 2022.
On February 20, 2023 the Runway Cafe posted the following message on their Facebook page:
I believe Restaurant Impossible chose our place due to our unique situation. We began as a business lunch casual type restaurant and had to evolve into a restaurant adjacent to a park filled with families. We love all of our customers but sometimes it’s a difficult balance to keep everyone happy. This is the challenge that piqued the interest of Chef Irvine and the RI crew. We are so grateful for the experience. We will always be learning but they provided a road map.
