Starting March 21, 2023, McDonald’s will bring Krispy Kreme doughnuts to even more local restaurants as part of an expanded market test across 160 locations in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.

As part of the expanded market test, McDonald’s will be serving three Krispy Kreme fan-favorites: the Original Glazed Doughnut, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Doughnut and Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut.
McDonald’s says the expanded test will help the brand learn more about operational impact on a larger scale as well as explore customer demand.
Additionally, this time around, McDonald’s is offering even more ways for fans to satisfy their Krispy Kreme craving, with doughnuts available all day in-restaurant, at the drive-thru, via McDelivery and on the McDonald’s App.
McDonald’s initially started a small operations test of select Krispy Kreme doughnuts at just nine restaurants in Louisville and the surrounding area back in October 2022.
