Sonic announces the early start of summer by offering the char-grilled flavor of a backyard cookout to the drive-in with the debut of the new Griller Cheeseburger starting May 1, 2023.

The Griller Cheeseburger features a 100 percent pure beef, seasoned, and char-grill glazed patty, layered with two slices of melty American cheese, hickory smoked bacon, a tangy Sonic Comeback Sauce, chopped lettuce and tomatoes served on a toasted bakery bun.
While the Griller Cheeseburger officially hits menus nationwide on May 1, Sonic is offering App users exclusive early access starting April 24, 2023.
Fans can order the new Sonic Griller on its own, or as part of a combo meal at participating locations nationwide through June 25, 2023 while supplies last.
In addition to the new Griller Cheeseburger, Sonic is also teaming up with Red Bull for the fifth year in a row with the return of Red Bull Slushes, including the new Red Bull Summer Edition Juneberry Slush.
For the first time ever, fans can cool off after a hot summer day with the taste of Juneberry, featuring notes of Cherry, Red Berry, Juneberry, and Red Grape, with a slightly floral finish. Red Bull Slushes are only available for the summertime, and fans can get them for half-price when they order using the Sonic App.
In addition to getting half-price drinks and slushes any time they order in the app, Sonic App user can take advantage of half-price classic Sonic Cheeseburgers on Tuesday nights, and exclusive monthly rewards and offers
