On tonight’s episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and his team are in Sheridan, Colorado to rescue Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9644.

VFW Post 9644 opened its doors in 1947 and welcomed veterans returning home from WWII. Over the next several decades, membership continued to grow and VFW Post 9644 became a dependable meeting spot for veterans of all wars.
However, over the past decade, membership at the Post has decreased by 50 percent, and a recent change in leadership at has left many of the Post’s senior members very concerned about the new direction and changes to bring in new members.
The rescue happened in summer 2022.
