The popular fast-casual chain is elevating the excitement with its “Extra Day, Extra Codes” challenge on Instagram, running from February 26 through February 29. During this period, Chipotle aficionados have the opportunity to win free guacamole for a year.
“Extra Day, Extra Codes” Challenge:
In a nod to the rare additional day in the 2024 calendar, Chipotle is launching the “Extra Day, Extra Codes” promotion, building on its tradition of offering free food through interactive challenges. Fans are invited to uncover hidden keywords within Chipotle’s Instagram content leading up to “Extra Day” for a chance to win free guacamole for a year.
Here’s how it works:
- From February 26 to February 28, fans will search for 29 keywords concealed within Chipotle’s Instagram posts and captions. Ten keywords will be revealed daily on February 26 and 27, with nine on February 28.
- The challenge begins at 9 am PT each day. The 366th fan to text the keyword to 888222 wins free guacamole for a year. The number 366 symbolizes the days in a Leap Year. Standard text and data rates apply.
Chipotle’s Real Guacamole:
Chipotle’s guacamole is crafted with six real ingredients: Hass avocados, hand-chopped cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, citrus juice, and kosher salt. This offering serves as a nourishing source of healthy fat. Throughout the year, Chipotle anticipates using approximately 5.18 million cases of avocados, equivalent to 129.5 million pounds of fruit across its US, Canada, and Europe locations.
Free Guacamole Offer Legal Terms: The offer allows for a free small side or entree topping of guacamole with the purchase of a full-priced entrée item using the code EXTRA24. Limit one free serving per order, subject to availability. Valid only on February 29, 2024, via Chipotle’s website or mobile apps, excluding in-restaurant and third-party delivery orders.
