Relatively unknown, Boyer has played background roles in a variety of popular shows for years, including the “man at mattress store” (Desperate Housewives), “professor” (Class), “old seasoned farmer” (Rosewood) and “Arnold Cragmeyer” (L.A. Heat).

As the Value Colonel, Boyer will be pitching various $5 Fill Up combos as well as $3.99 Pot Pies ($3.99 Pot Pies available at participating locations starting December 26).

KFC’s Pot Pie features a classic recipe that includes bite-size pieces of chicken, diced potatoes, peas and carrots covered in a savory sauce and baked in a flaky, golden crust.

KFC’s $5 Fill Ups offer a full meal with your choice of entree, mashed potatoes, drink and a chocolate chip cookie – all for five bucks.
