With a focus on value for money, Hardee’s puts together a new deal that they’re calling “Hardee Value” featuring three select sandwiches priced at $2.49 each.

Not surprisingly, Hardee’s tries something little different by moving away from the somewhat overcrowded combo/meal space in favour of a single entree at a price point that the chain believes will land in the fast food pricing sweet spot.
The following three sandwiches can be found at participating Hardee’s locations for $2.49 each:
Southern-Style Tender Sandwich: Two all-white meat hand-breaded chicken tenders, mayo and dill pickles on a toasted sesame seed bun
Hot Ham ‘N’ Cheese: Layers of sliced ham and melted Swiss cheese on a lightly toasted plain bun.
Bacon Double Cheeseburger: Two charbroiled all-beef patties, bacon, American cheese, dill pickles, diced onions, ketchup, mustard on a toasted sesame seed bun.
Notably, last September Hardee’s expanded their popular $5 All Star Meal Deal lineup by adding 2 Hot Ham ‘N’ Cheese sandwiches as an option.
At the time, the meal deal included two Hot Ham ‘N’ Cheese sandwiches alongside fries, a small drink and a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie for 5 bucks.
It’s probably not a stretch to assume that for most people, the $5 All Star Meal Deal offered far more bang for the buck, however, if you’re satisfied with a single sandwich, buying one for $2.49 probably makes sense.
Speaking strictly out of class, I believe a $1.99 price point is a good starting place on deals of this nature. But it’s also important to understand that this is a very challenging space to navigate.
“Hardee Value” appears to be Hardee’s answer to sister brand Carl’s Jr.’s $2.49 Charbroiled Double Deals – featuring three select charbroiled cheeseburgers priced at $2.49 each.
