After making the difficult decision to remove the Side Salad from its menu on April 3, 2023, Chick-fil-A has had an abrupt change of heart and will continue serving the Side Salad at participating locations.

According to Chick-fil-A, the decision to reverse course and keep serving the Side Salad was based on feedback from their loyal fans. The initial decision to discontinue the Side Salad was made as part of the chain’s effort to simplify and refresh their menu.
The Side Salad features a fresh bed of mixed greens, topped with a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses and grape tomatoes. It comes served with charred tomato, crispy red bell peppers and choice of dressing.
