The new flavor is based on the tangy mustard-based BBQ found in South Carolina and Northern Georgia, and is an extension of the regional flavors KFC is bringing to restaurants across the US.

Both Georgia Gold and Nashville Hot will be available at participating KFC restaurants for a limited time.

KFC will be offering individual Georgia Gold and Nashville Hot basket meals featuring three Extra Crispy Tenders or two pieces of Extra Crispy Chicken, an individual cole slaw and a biscuit for $5.49.

Additionally, Georgia Gold and Nashville Hot Big Baskets will be available for $9.99 and include six Extra Crispy Tenders or four pieces of Extra Crispy Chicken, plus cole slaw, mashed potatoes, gravy and two biscuits.

Zane, best-known for his roles as tycoon Cal Hockley in Titanic and as Stan Gutterie on ABC’s summer smash hit, Guilt follows in the footsteps of previous KFC celebrity colonels George Hamilton, Darrell Hammond, Rob Riggle, Vincent Kartheiser, Norm Macdonald and Jim Gaffigan.
