According to the Detroit Free Press, Wahlberg is partnering with Detroit businessman Dan Gilbert to open the eatery in Detroit’s downtown Greektown district.
Wahlberg revealed the plans this week during an interview to promote his new film “Daddy’s Home.”
During the interview with FOX 2, Wahlberg said the new restaurant could be opening as early as next summer.
“I’ve been nice enough to get Dan Gilbert to give me a nice location,” Wahlberg said. “I’m coming … could be this summer.”
The burger chain has locations in Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania and Canada.
