On Monday, the fine arts student laid on a picnic table outside the cafeteria at the student center while she was covered in Chick-Fil-A waffle fries and ketchup, the San Antonio Express News reported.
“I think the fact that food being craved and satisfied relates to how we satisfy our emotional and physical relationships now a days and just questioning, is this what we want,” Rostvold told the paper VIA text massage.
She told Texas State’s University Star that she intended her performance to start conversation about how dating apps like Tinder and Grindr have changed young people’s view of romance and have created a “hook-up culture.”
Last semester, Rostvold created a buzz on campus when she sat nearly nude during a live artistic performance against sexual assault.
