Coca-Cola Ginger is the latest limited edition flavor to hit the market – but you’ll only find it on shelves in Australia and New Zealand.
According to Coca-Cola, the new flavor came about after researchers exploring Australian beverage preferences found ginger to be a significant trend.
The new flavor was developed, tested and launched in less than six months – no insignificant task when you consider the fact that it can take years to bring a new product to market.
For now the new flavor can only be found in Australia and New Zealand. No word yet if Coca-Cola plans to expand Coke Ginger into other markets.
Interestingly enough, a look at the list of ingredients on a bottle of Coke Ginger reveals the new drink doesn’t actually get its flavor from ginger, just something Coca-Cola describes on the label as “Flavour.”
Opinions on the new flavor are mixed:
Sorry but why would anyone in their right mind want ginger flavoured coke???? ?

Just tried Coke Ginger. Pretty soulless flavour to be honest.
