For its 2021 return, the fan-favorite boasts 50 percent more cheese inside its double-layered shell.

More specifically, the Quesalupa starts with stuffing the crispy chalupa shell with a blend of melted pepper jack and mozzarella cheeses from edge-to-edge. Inside are Taco Bell’s signature flavors including seasoned beef, crispy lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, fresh diced tomatoes and cool reduced fat sour cream.

Participating locations are also offering a Black Bean Quesalupa, where seasoned beef is swapped out for black beans.

While the Quesalupa makes its nationwide debut on Thursday, March 11, 2021, Taco Bell Rewards Beta members can score *early access through the Taco Bell app starting Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

While a lot has changed since the Quesalupa made its debut back in 2016, the price hasn’t. The Quesalupa is available at participating locations for a suggested price of $2.99 a la carte, or $6.99 as part of a combo, which includes a Quesalupa, two Crunchy Tacos and a large fountain drink.

*Early Access is only available on Wednesday, March 10  and redeemable only via the Taco Bell mobile app for in-store and drive-thru pickup orders, at participating US locations, while supplies last. The offer is not available with a web pay-ahead, pickup order or delivery order. You must be a registered user in the Taco Bell app to gain early access.
