Szechuan Sauce will be available for free exclusively on the McDonald’s App when selecting it as a dipping sauce option with the purchase of Chicken McNuggets. You’ll also be able to purchase up to five packets of Szechuan Sauce a la carte.
McDonald’s iconic Szechuan Sauce features a savory and slightly sweet taste profile with hints of soy, garlic, ginger and mild vinegar notes.
This time around, Szechuan Sauce will be available in limited-edition packaging with five different golden foil designs that spell “Szechuan.”
Szechuan Sauce has only returned three other times in the past 24 years. It last appeared on the menu for a limited time back in February 2018 when the brand released a total of 20 million packets with a qualifying purchase.
