McDonald’s this week announced it will start testing a new, small-format, beverage-led concept called CosMc’s in Bolingbrook, Illinois, this month.

CosMc’s is a small-format restaurant concept that offers a variety of beverage creations alongside a small lineup of food, including a few of the brand’s fan-favorites.
Drinks available include a range of specialty lemonades and teas, blended beverages and cold coffee – think Sour Cherry Energy Slush, Tropical Spiceade and S’mores Cold Brew. You can also customize your drink with popping boba, flavor syrups, energy or Vitamin C shots, and much more.
Additionally, and on the food front, fans can expect savory offerings including a Spicy Queso Sandwich, Savory Hash Brown Bites and Pretzel Bites served with dipping sauces. On the sweet side, there’s a Blueberry Lemon Cookie Sundae and Caramel Fudge Brownies, to name a few. You can also expect to find a few McDonald’s classics on the menu.
CosMc’s also offers a seamless digital and Drive Thru experience, dynamic menu boards and cashless payment devices to breeze through the ordering and payment process. Drive Thru pickup windows are assigned once your order is ready, which means an easy-going journey to your happy place.
By the end of 2024, the brand plans to open approximately 10 CosMc’s pilot locations, with more opportunities for more locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metro areas.
