The rebranding is in response to a recent study that found 56 percent of parents have served their kids Mac & Cheese for breakfast more often during COVID-19 related state lockdowns than in previous months. According to Kraft, 1,000 parents took part in the study.
Starting Tuesday, August 4 through Friday, August 7, Kraft is celebrating by offering fans a chance to score a limited-edition Kraft Mac & Cheese “Breakfast Box.”
Each box features a spot for kids to color while the mac & cheese is being prepared, a magnet with breakfast topping suggestions, like crumbled sausage, bacon or scrambled eggs, a mug for serving and the original Kraft Mac & Cheese with special “Breakfast” packaging.
For your chance to win a “Breakfast Box,” simply visit Twitter and tweet the hashtags #KMCforBreakfast and #Sweepstakes during the promo period. A reply will be automatically sent with a direct link to see if you are a lucky winner. You can also enter by visiting a special microsite at mac-n-cheese-for-breakfast.fooji.com and following the instructions.
Additionally, Kraft Mac & Cheese will donate 10 boxes to Feed the Children for every #KMCforBreakfast on Twitter up to a maximum of 1 million boxes.
Watch for limited-edition Kraft Mac & Cheese boxes with breakfast labels at select grocery stores some time in 2021.
