Lay’s fans will be celebrating today after the company announced the much anticipated “Flavor Swap” winning line-up: Flamin’ Hot, Cheddar & Sour Cream, Honey Barbecue, and Kettle Cooked Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper are here to stay.

“We heard our fans loud and clear and we are keeping the classic flavors around for them to enjoy,” Jeannie Cho, Frito-Lay’s VP of marketing said in a statement.
In the flavor match up, four new Lay’s flavors – Lay’s Fiery Roasted Habanero, Smoked Gouda & Chive, Korean Barbecue, Lay’s Kettle Cooked Olive Oil & Herbs – competed against four American classics – Flamin’ Hot, Cheddar & Sour Cream, Honey Barbecue, and Kettle Cooked Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper – for a spot in the Lay’s permanent potato chip line-up.
The campaign invited fans to vote on their favorite flavor in each of the four “Flavor Swap” match-ups. The contest ran from February 21 through March 8, 2016.
