Ian K. over at Peep THIS Out! reports the new Honey Sriracha Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich features a charbroiled chicken breast, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and new Honey Sriracha Sauce on a Honey Wheat Bun.
The sandwich is selling a la carte for $5.29, and $7.89 as part of a meal combo, with fries and a drink.
While the new test sandwich offers great curb appeal, it fails to deliver on the anticipated heat. As Ian points out in his review, the sandwich comes with a generous portion of Honey Sriracha Sauce, but it’s “very, very sweet,” to the point where it’s “overpowering.” Although hints of sriracha hit you on the backend, it’s far too subtle for Ian’s tastes and could be dialed up a notch or two.
Despite the flaws associated with the sauce, the charbroiled chicken is very juicy and flavorful, while the Swiss cheese acts as the glue that holds everything together.
Overall, the Honey Sriracha Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich is just too sweet, but it’s not a complete failure. Check out Ian’s full review below for his “Bomb Sexy” rating.
